The sun

The sun is one of billions of stars.
It rotates around the earth every 27 days.
The sun is a middle aged star which means it is at the middle of is life,
it has been shining for over four and a half billion years ago.
It might be a bit scary to think it is halfway through it's life but it isn't the sun will be shining for another atleast 5 billion years more .
The surface of the sun is called the photosphere, it is about 10,000° Fahrenheit.
The core is in the centre off the sun , the core is 27 million° Fahrenheit.
The sun is 333,000 times heavier than the earth and 870 miles wider!
In ancient times , ancient people thought the sun was a burning ball off fire created by gods. You are not meant to look at the sun because it damages your iris of your eye! There are some stars called supergiant stars that are 400 times bigger than the sun!
The sun is 25 million lightyears away galactic core of our galaxy .
